The best Disney Plus bundles: Hulu, ESPN Plus, and global offers compared

Disney Plus bundles are frequently overlooked, but they're comfortably one of the best ways of getting maximum value from your Disney Plus subscription. As an example, there's currently an offer that nets you Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus for $12.99 a month.

While Disney Plus bundles like this are more expensive than a single month of the streaming service by itself, they're pretty good bang for buck. Namely, that triple-pack is the same price as a Standard HD month of Netflix but offers three times the amount of content. Because there's theoretically something for everyone in the household, it's a little easier to justify. You can keep up with sports at the press of a button, for instance, or catch the latest dramas. You can settle your kids in front of beloved cartoons, or prepare for the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and watch WandaVision

Either way, just be quick - Disney Plus bundle deals will be affected by the Disney Plus price increase. In the US, the price increases to $7.99 per month or $79.99 for a year as of March 2021. What's more, the Disney Plus / Hulu / ESPN Plus offer is increasing to $13.99 per month. Move fast if you want to take advantage of the current, lower cost.

The same is true in the UK. To get specific, new subscribers will be paying £7.99 per month or £79.90 for a year as of February 23 2021. Meanwhile, existing members will see their current fees increased to the same amount from August 23 2021. Pick up a renewal before then to save money.

Why is it going up in cost? It's mainly due to Disney investing a whole lot of cash into its streaming service via original shows. More specifically, we're looking down the barrel of 10 Marvel and 10 Star Wars series in the next few years. Raya and the Last Dragon is also anticipating a simultaneous launch on Disney Plus and in theatres.

No matter what you go for or when, picking up a Disney Plus bundle is as good a way to pass the time during this pandemic as any. With hundreds of hours of content and some of the biggest names in entertainment on its roster, the streaming service has a lot to offer. It's growing all the time, too. Namely, you can watch Soul (the brand-new Pixar movie) at your leisure, and you're also able to see both seasons of The Mandalorian TV show via the service right now.

Not that cartoons and sci-fi are the only things on Disney Plus. Besides a ton of Marvel movies, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (not to mention Wandavision) is coming our way in early 2021 to continue the MCU story. In addition, you're also getting the full Star Wars collection of films, the ability to watch Mulan 2020, over 30 seasons of The Simpsons, National Geographic documentaries, and more that we don't really have room for here.

That stampede of content shows no sign of slowing down, either. Besides the Marvel shows we mentioned above, a Loki series is also on the way, as is an Obi-Wan show and a clutch of others focusing on characters like She-Hulk, Moon Knight, and Ms Marvel. Even Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and the Bad Batch from Star Wars are getting their own spin-offs.

Today's best cheap Disney Plus bundles

So, let's get down to the deals. In the US, our favorite Disney Plus bundle is the excellent Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus package at just $12.99 a month. Disney Plus on its own is $6.99 a month, while Hulu would be $5.99. Finally, ESPN Plus costs $4.99. In other words, buying all three separately would come to $17.97 a month. That means you're making a nice $4.98 saving each month here. In short, it's a $60 saving spread across a year. Thanks to Hulu being packed with a wide range of content and much more for adults - we're talking Handmaid's Tale, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Parasite, Family Guy, Devs, and American Horror Story - it's a great companion service.

With a 4K Netflix account costing $15.99 a month as well, we think that this Disney Plus bundle is an absolute steal (especially as there's lots of 4K Disney Plus content at no extra charge). Heck, pair this with a Netflix account if you want (we have) and you could really consider joining the cord-cutter community and ditching your regular cable TV package.

And don't forget, you can cancel any of these streaming services at any time - you're not tied into any long term commitments

If you already have Hulu and/or ESPN Plus, you don't have to miss out on the discount either - Disney will help reduce your bill.

Anyway, to summarise - after months spent covering the best Disney Plus sign-up offers, we can say with hand on heart that nothing we've seen has gotten the better of this deal. If you're interested in all three services, it's a no-brainer.

Sadly, that Disney Plus bundle is exclusive to the US. Over in the UK, there are only a couple of options to choose from - £5.99 a month or £59.99 for a year upfront. As things stand, there are no other streaming services bundled with it in the UK. The only offer that comes close is a deal for O2 mobile customers which gets you a free membership with certain contracts.

If you want to learn more about the new streaming service from the House of Mouse, we've rounded up the details along with what movies and TV shows you can watch over on our Disney Plus page.
