MSI has collaborated with Frieren Beyond Journey's End to create the PC accessories of my dreams
While I've been reeling over the fact that season two of Frieren is only ten episodes long, MSI has been busy creating one of the most stunning lines of anime gaming hardware. Announced on the official MSI Twitter (X) page on March 10, the brand is launching a new line of Frieren Beyond Journey’s End edition accessories, featuring one of the best graphics card designs I've ever laid my eyes on.
The brand new GPU is "crafted with exquisite design and formidable performance to create a new legend of today's adventurers," according to MSI. While just a bunch of everyday marketing spiel, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16G card really has never looked better with its Frieren and Himmel-inspired white and baby-blue colorway. You can even spot little silhouettes of the two on the fan labels. Just in case that wasn't magical enough, MSI has even included the pair on the backplate, followed by a heart-renching Hummel quote that's heat-activated.
I normally shed tears over the pricing of PC parts, not over their design details. Yet, every ounce of detail poured into this Frieren Beyond Journey's End line is as stunning and emotional as the last.

MSI hasn't yet shared how much this graphics card and its matching Force TKL Wireless keyboard, Versa Wireless gaming mouse, and Agility mousemat are expected to cost, nor when and where they'd be available. For now, just like the many statues of Himmel the Hero, you can only gaze at every detail, but that's enough to be convinced my setup needs a Frieren-inspired refresh.
The graphics card is definitely the showstopper piece of the entire line, and likely to be the most expensive when non-Frieren versions of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti were priced at $749 / £729 at launch. It comes packaged inside a mimic-themed treasure chest, just like the one Frieren herself finds herself in throughout the series. You'll get not just the graphics card, but an official Frieren Beyond Journey's End blanket that offers "quiet and warmth" and looks ideal to use while cuddled up watching the series.
If you care more about the specs than the fact you're getting a free blanket here, you'll be glad to know that the Nvidia Blackwell and DLSS 4-powered graphics card is integrated with a TRI FROZR 4 Thermal Design for better airflow, customizable RGB lighting and Dual BIOS so you can put it up in gaming mode or a low noise "silent mode." While the GPU centers around Freiren and Himmel, the Force TKL Wireless Frieren Edition board is the best gaming keyboard for Fern and Stark fans.
The tenkeyless design helps take up less desk real estate, which is especially handy for someone like me who likes their desk covered in as many anime figures as gaming accessories. It also comes equipped with hot-swappable (5-pin) mechanical switches. The board even comes with a set of additional keys that add some Stark and Fern imagery, if the screen isn't enough.
There's a 1.06-inch display on the top right of the board, which shows essential information including battery status and brightness levels. However, it can also display the Frieren Beyond Journey's End logo or little chibi versions of the characters. The official MSI site displays adorable depictions of Fern and Stark or Frieren and Stark together, but I hope there's a little Heiter and Eisen chibi duo available at launch too.
The beautifully printed keys come together to form art of Frieren bang in the center, with the lilac shading from her hair being matched by the soft purple-colored function keys. The matching Vera Wireless Frieren Edition mouse is also a huge part of that, despite being the most minimal part of this entire line.
The mouse features art of Himmel and Frieren on the left and right buttons, and there's an RGB sigil on the palm rest to give it a more mystical and magical appearance. For RGB fans, the textured anti-grip surface on the side of the mouse also lights up, and can be customized via MSI Center. For the nitty and gritty specs, the mouse can switch between MSi SwiftSpeed 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth 5.2 or be used via a wired connection, and is powered by an advanced PixArt PAW3395DM Optical Sensor.
The mouse also has a DPI of 26000 and a battery life of up to 200 hours. If you grab the mouse whenever MSI chooses to release it, you could also grab the Agility GD20 mousemat, which features art of both the trio of Frieren, Fern, and Sterk and the original Demon King slaying team of heroes. MSI boasts that it has a "silky smooth gaming surface" and is designed to carry you through long gaming sessions. Now, if only there were an official Frieren Beyond' Journey's End game to play.
The entirety of this stunning MSI and Frieren Beyond Journey's End collaboration has yet to appear at any US and UK retailers, but I'll be sure to let you know the second I see it drop. I've been clamouring for some Frieren accessories for a while now, and so it'll be nice to see this launch after I'm still waiting for the Frieren Switch 2 accessories to arrive.
