There's a double-helping of lycanthrope action from Teen Wolf producer Jeff Davis this month: firstly a new Teen Wolf movie, and secondly an unrelated new series, Wolf Pack (both debuting on Paramount+ on 27 January). We speak to Davis and three of his Teen Wolf cast, plus TV legend Sarah Michelle Gellar – yes, the Buffy star is returning to supernatural telly!

You might have seen her highly memeable dance moves on social media, but there's a dark side to Model 3 Generative Android (M3GAN for short) too.. We find out more about the horror movie with the annoyingly difficult-to-type title from writer Akela Cooper and star Allison Williams.

Mark Jenkin's Cornish drama Bait won him a BAFTA. Now he's tried his hand at folk horror with the mystifying Enys Men. We find out what "horror in form, not content" means from the one-man-band writer/director/cameraman/editor/sound designer/composer/on-set caterer (probably).

Doctor Who

In the run-up to Doctor Who marking its 60th anniversary our aim is to have a feature on some aspect of the series every issue. This month we present a selection of behind-the-scenes photos from Jodie Whittaker's last hurrah, "The Power of the Doctor"

And that's not all, features-wise! We also talk about doing Anne Rice's prose justice with Mayfair Witches showrunners Michelle Ashford and Esta Spalding, have a chinwag with Jameela Jamil about voicing a Trill for Star Trek: Prodigy, profile novelist Jonathan Carroll, and get Leigh Bardugo to fill in our author questionnaire.

Red Alert

And the big features are just the tip of the iceberg! As ever, our news section, Red Alert, is crammed with insights into yet more movies, TV shows, comics and books. In the spotlight this month: a set of new Blake's 7 novelisations drawing on Terry Nation's original scripts; season four of Servant; Irish goblin horror Unwelcome; the return of Mark Millar's Nemesis; season two of Star Wars: The Bad Batch; superpowered comedy show Extraordinary; and new Wasp, Scarlet Witch and Superman comics.
