RTX 3070 stock continues to be just as evasive from the hands of many would-be PC builders now as when it launched a full year ago. Unfortunately, this trend shows little to no signs of bucking, with restocks at MSRP/RRP still up in the air from many of the major players of the online retail world.

It's a familiar story for those also hunting down members of the RTX 30-series family such as the RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3080 yet, unfortunately, the best case scenario to get your hands on this particular GPU is to go for an RTX 3070 PC or RTX 3070 laptop as opposed to splashing out on unnecessarily when the RTX 3070 price becomes overly inflated after the fact.

Nvidia RTX 3070 launched with an MSRP of $599 and an RRP of £529. It offers very capable performance for its price tag, with its 5,888 CUDA cores and 8GB VRAM clocked at 1.73GHz. There's little mistake that it's an extremely powerful GPU for Full HD, 1440p and 4K with little to no compromises - hence why its been so heavily sought after.
Unfortunately, you are unlikely to find the RTX 3070 for its asking price even a year after release; keep that in mind when weighing up your options as far as getting the standalone card goes, and only buy from trusted, reputable brands if you are going to invest in one at a little extra than anticipated.

The world's largest online retailer is pretty sparse with options for RTX 3070 stock, and what's available on the site is 3x the MSRP. In our opinion, we recommend investing in a prebuilt system for a similar rate.

Best Buy held an in-store RTX 30 series restock event on October 1 at various participating stores, where the RTX 3070 was available more than some other RTX 30 series models for its respective MSRPs. Because of this, we highly recommend keeping a close eye on Best Buy in case there's another massive restock soon.

Here's where things get a little challenging to quantify. You can, indeed, pickup an RTX 3070 GPU, but it will cost you almost triple the card's asking price. It's currently unknown as to when a restock will be on the cards for MSRP.

What few standalone RTX 3070 GPUs are available through Walmart are, sadly, far in excess of the MSRP of the card itself. Fortunately, prebuilt RTX 3070 gaming PCs and gaming laptops are available for fairer prices, such as the MSI GP66 Leopard for $1,799.99 or $1,998.98 for the SkyTech Shiva prebuilt gaming PC.

Unfortunately, there's little stock available from the world's largest online retailer in the UK. We generally recommend keeping tabs on Amazon as it covers so much territory that (should a restock happen) it's likely it will know about it first.

RTX 3070 GPUs are in stock from £809.99 and up depending on the manufacturer. However, you can currently pick up a prebuilt AlphaSync RTX 3070 PC for £1,319.99, which is a great deal and the best way of getting the card right now, in our opinion.

The cheapest price that we were able to find for RTX 3070 stock on this site was £869.99 for a Gigabyte model. Other RTX 3070 GPUs are available for significantly more, with prebuilt desktops and gaming laptops for sale, too.

Box has RTX 3070 GPUs available from £829, but there's also a whole host of discounts and deals on gaming desktops and laptops rocking the card, such as the HP Omen 15 for £1,399.97.

At this current point in time, the brick and mortar/online hybrid store has no RTX 3070 stock of any kind for sale right now. However, all is not lost, shoppers are encouraged to sign up for email notifications when a restock comes in, whenever that may be.
