All the new Batman comics, graphic novels, collections from DC arriving in 2021 and beyond

The list of new Batman comics is growing every day, between the comic books, digital-first releases, original graphic novels, and collected editions.

In the main DCU Batman family of titles, a revitalized Scarecrow is turning Gotham toxic in the just-launched 'Fear State' crossover event. The calamity is also a portend for the dark future teased earlier this year in the 'Future State' event, where the city is put under martial law and vigilantes are banned.

And the end of 'Fear State' will also be the end of the run for the current Batman team of James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez. They are cycling off the book, with Joshua Williamson and Jorge Molina taking their place beginning with December's Batman #118.

In addition to the main Batman and Detective Comics titles, there's also several limited series underway, including Tom Taylor and Andy Kubert's Batman: The Detective, and Batman '89 - a continuation of the 1989 Batman film by director Tim Burton and actor Michael Keaton.

On the horizon (but without a firm release date) are also Tom King and the late John Paul Leon's Batman/Catwoman Special #1, Sean Gordon Murphy's Batman: Beyond the White Knight, Marc Silvestri's Batman/Joker: Deadly Duo, and another chapter in Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns saga.

And that's not to mention the numerous collections coming out at almost a weekly clip, putting recent arcs all in one place and, in some cases, bringing back in print storylines that haven't been available for years.
