GTA Online patch notes: Climb into the Pfister Comet S2 and earn double Sprint rewards

The first GTA Online patch notes since the big Los Santos Tuners update went live are here, and they're full of new ways to satisfy your need for speed.

The headlining addition to GTA Online this week is the Pfister Comet S2, a new Legendary Motorsport vehicle which is one of the seven additional cars coming this summer (on top of the 10 which were already included with the Los Santos Tuners update). If you became an LS Car Meet Member last week, you'll already be a step ahead with the free Ron Racing Livery for the Comet S2 - log in after August 2 and it should drop into your account within the next three days.

Of course, you have to pay for a Pfister Comet S2. If you want to try to pick up an almost-as-new ride free, you can complete the Prize Ride Challenge by August 4 to pick up a Vulcar Warrener HKR: this week's challenge is to win five Sprint Challenges, but you'll still be handsomely rewarded even for the ones you lose thanks to limited-time double GTA$ and RP on Sprints for LS Car Meet members.

If you want to see what's coming next, you can head to the Car Meet's Test Track to try out the unreleased Vapid Dominator ASP before it arrives on August 5. The Comet S2 and Dinka Jester RR will also be available for test drives.

The final Car Meet bonuses this week are cash and clothes: a free LS Customs Varsity Jacket for anybody who visits the location; the Street Crimes Color Gangs Tee for anyone who completes the Daily Vehicle list on the chalkboard by their auto shop office; a one-time bonus of GTA$250K for reaching Car Meet Membership Rank 10 by August 17; and an extra GTA$200K and the Born x Raised Tee in a white colorway if you complete any Contract Finale by August 5. All of these rewards should roll out within 72 hours when you log in after August 9.

Outside of the Car Meet, you can try your luck to win a Truffade Z-Type on the Diamond Casino podium, and get a free Race and Chase Arcade cabinet if you purchase the Auto Shop property. Here are the weekly discounts to capitalize on:
