War of the Worlds season one began with the discovery that, er, it's not really anything to do with the HG Wells novel, and ended with the revelation that the alien invaders look human. Gasp! What does that mean for season two? We quiz writer Howard Overman and executive producer Julian Murphy.

We also look at Big Finish's new audio adaptation of The Box of Delights, speak to American Horror Story veteran Cheyenne Jackson about his new horror-comedy Werewolves Within, and profile horror writer Grady Hendrix, while fantasy scribe Steven Erikson fills in our author questionnaire.
