Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War patch notes for Season Two
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War patch notes are out for Season Two, ushering in a host of new content across the entire game.
The biggest change is the arrival of a new game modes like large-scale zombie invasion Outbreak, and Gun Game, which requires you to progress through a set of 20 weapons, scoring a kill to upgrade to the next tier. Start with a pistol and level up, claiming the final kill with a knife to win the round.
Those new modes will also benefit from new and improved maps. Apocalypse is the jungle-themed first arrival, but three new maps are also on their way. Treyarch has even made a number of changes to existing maps, too, with tweaks to Cartel, Crossroads Strike, Moscow, Satellite, and Raid. Of course, new maps and new modes are nothing without some new weapons to cause havoc on them with. Whether you prefer to get up close and personal with the E-Tool and the Machete or pick foes off from afar with the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle or R1 Shadowhunter crossbow, there's something for you.
As well as the headline changes on offer, Treyarch has been busy fixing bugs, tweaking maps, and adding quality of life improvements to Black Ops Cold War. You can check out the patch notes below, or on the Call of Duty blog.
